The North Oval is also known as Parrington Oval. It is on the south side of Boyd, and north of the Bizzell Memorial Library. To the east of the Oval is the OU Visitor's Center, and on the west is the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art.
There are numerous pieces of art and statues in and around the North Oval. Several historical markers line the Parrington Oval, giving information on the people who helped shape the university and the buildings named after them.
