The Mausoleum is a contributing property to the Paseo Neighborhood Historic District. Standing in the northeast section of the cemetery, it is a one and a half story limestone structure, built in 1924-1925. Architects Sidney Lovell and Leonard Bailey have created a beautiful Classical Revival building with a hipped Spanish tile roof (green) on the main portion and on the two East-West wings. The construction cost is shown to have been $70,000.
The main entrance on the south has low walls flanking the stairway, with cast stone urns on each side of the doors. A limestone pediment above the bronze doors is etched with the words, "To those dear ones who rest here for all time in peace and security, this memorial is lovingly dedicated A.D. 1924." Most of the original bronze windows have stained glass. This mausoleum was designed to hold 500 crypts.
