The Bellavista Textile Factory is considered to be the site where the Union Movement began in Mexico. It is also notorious for the first strike in Mexico in 1905. Several of the workers were murdered in the confrontations...and the Factory Museum even displays photos of some of their bodies hanging in the trees.
There is no information about this engine at the site...but it sits on the front lawn of the factory and was probably part of the factory's operations in the late 1800s/early 1900s. It appears to be a wood-burning steam engine.
