The First United Methodist Church Activity Center is located on Greenhill Road, just a block off of Hwy. 58 in Cedar Falls. The central focus of the small park is the labyrinth, but there is also a picnic shelter on site and a hiking/biking trail nearby.
Interlocking bricks form a circular pattern where one can walk, think, and meditate on the “journey.” The labyrinth ends at a free standing wooden cross where a cement bench awaits those who wish to spend more time in prayer. Unlike a maze where one often gets lost, a labyrinth has a one way path where a person can “find” him/herself, in this case at the foot of the cross.
