[ENG] Bridge which played an important role in the Napoleonic invasions, it was the only place where they could cross the river, so there was a battle between the troops of Napoleon and 800 men defending the bridge.
On site there are two plaques that one recalls the events and another that celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Napoleonic invasions in 2009.
[PT] Ponte que representou um importante papel nas invasões Napoleónicas, pois era o único local onde podiam passar o rio, por isso houve uma batalha entre as tropas napoleónicas e 800 homens que defendiam a ponte.
No local existem duas placas uma que relembra os acontecimentos e outra que comemora os 200 anos das invasões Napoleónicas em 2009.
