HIOB International is a Swiss charity organization that runs 25 thrift stores all over the country. They sell all sorts of second hand goods. You can also donate goods to them.
HIOB runs over 250 charity operations in over 50 countries each year. Their main task is to ship second hand hardware used in factories, work shops or hospitals to third world countries. This covers things like machines, wheel chairs, tools, hospital equipment or bicycles.
The thrift stores are mainly used to earn the needed money for storage and shipping of the donated hardware.
