The Rabinowitz Courthouse was completed in 2001. The five-story modernism style building was designed by architect Charles Bettisworth and Company, Inc. and constructed by Alcan General, Inc. The courthouse serves the Fourth District of the Alaska Court System. The building was named in honor of former Alaska Supreme Court Justice Jay Rabinowitz.
