«VilVite (Norwegian: "Want to know") is a science discovery centre for the promotion of science and technology among children and people of all ages. Here you can explore 75 interactive installations, machines and experiments on 1700 square metres of space. VilVite is situated in Bergen, in the western part of Norway.

A Science Centre, or a Science Museum, describes, in a modern context, a museum or building containing interactive exhibits devoted primarily to science.

Focusing on topics of ocean, weather and energy, which are all appropriate topics for a Norwegian Science Centre, VilVite has a unique profile among some 3500 Science Centres worldwide.
