This is the end of the French departmental road D23.IV "Rue de Flüh". It crosses the border to Switzerland just some steps before the first houses of the village Flüh. From here it is called "Leymenstrasse"; smaller Swiss roads like this are not numbered. The crossing is unmanned; even long before Switzerland joined the European Schengen agreement this was an open and unmanned border crossing.

On both sides of the border are the standard signs that inform about the different speed limits in the two countries. The French side also has a bilingual sign that says border crossing is only allowed without goods you have to pay customs for.
Type Of Crossing: Country

Where is the border located?: Rural Road

Welcome Center/Facilities: No
