Subway is open from 7am daily for breakfast and closes at 10pm. The cheerful staff sell a variety of healthy delicious salads and sandwiches to eat in the historic surroundings or outside on a deck. Takeaways are also available.
This railway station was built in 1902 and now registered as a category II with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. It is also a fine example of a vintage Troup station.
