It is long believed that the waterfall attracted British ships coming to Hong Kong to fetch fresh water after long journey. The society was very unstable in 1937 to 1941. There were a number of wars around Water Bay and we can still see the evidence today.
There is a natural waterfall in Water Bay Park. The water comes from Pokfulam reservoir. The waterfall was once honored as of the “Hong Kong Eight Scences”.
