There are a number of grand Victorian shopping arcades in Leeds city centre. Most have entrances on one of the main shopping streets, Briggate.
The largest of them, the Victoria Quarter has a number of parts to it.
Victoria Street was not originally covered over, but a glass canopy was added in the 1990s.
In the middle of Victoria Street is this pair of fountains that are near the entrance to another arcade, the County Arcade. Victoria Street stretches from Briggate to Vicar Lane.
The shopping centre is open 7 days a week.
