Before World War II was spa resort Kudowa Zdroj inhabited mainly by German speaking citizens and the building with the weathervanes was called "Villa Diana". Later after World War II the villa got in the hands of the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate. The house is interesting by the fact that just here a few times spent a night Pope John Paul II. during his visits of this region.
