Located in Tepic's Panteon Hidalgo, this arch is near the entrance and along one of the pathways which wind around this cemetery. At the top of the archway are painted these words:
"Aqui la eternidad empieza y es polvo vil la mundanal grandeza."
which translated roughly into English is "Here begins eternity and vile dust goes to a great world."
