Strelný prach se v mírových dobách skladoval v nekolika objektech mimo obvod tehdejšího mesta, což melo zamezit prípadným nedozírným škodám pri nejaké nehode ve skladu. Tyto prachárny mela podobu obdélníkových budov s valbovými strechami a vycnívajícím krytým prujezdem, obklopených zdí se strážnicemi.
Prachárna se nachází u vrchu Libiny, asi 3 kilometry na západ od samotné pevnosti. Prach se odtud vozil do pevnosti v dobe, kdy hrozil válecný konflikt.

Gunpowder in peacetime stored in several buildings outside the perimeter of the former, which had immense potential to prevent damage from an accident in the store. These took the form of a Explosives store rectangular buildings with roofs and jutting valbovými covered passage, surrounded by walls of the guardhouse.
Explosives store is located at the top of the Libin, about 3 kilometers west of the fort itself. The dust then drove to the fort when the threatened conflict.
