Monastery founded in the 14th century by Zdenek of Lipá. After the 1682 fire was rebuilt in Baroque style (1710), in 1786 the monastery was closed.

ENG: Augustinian Monastery of St.Bartholomew was founded in middle of the 14th century, probably by Zdenek z Lipé. In the Hussite wars the monastery was abandoned and the building demolished. Augustinian were it back in 1450, and finally left the place by year 1500. Gundakar Prince of Liechtenstein bought the ruined complex, and had it repaired and give it to Piarists who have established a Latin school here. Since 1658 the monastery served Paulians. In 1701 the complex was rebuilt in Baroque style. In 1786 the monastery was closed. The building of the monastery served as a factory, and later as apartments, the church served religious purposes. Today the former convent houses use the municipal office.
CZ: Klášter s kostelem sv. Bartolomeje byl založen v polovine 14. stol., pravdepodobne za Zdenka z Lipé. Povolení ke stavbe vydal augustiniánum papež v Avignonu 2.2.1354. Roku 1423 byl pri husitských válkách klášter opušten a stavby poboreny. Augustiáni se do nej vrátili roku 1450, definitivne jej opustili roku 1500. V roce 1634 kníže Gundakar z Lichtenštejna koupil poborený komplex, nechal jej opravit a predal jej piaristum, kterí zde zrídili latinskou školu. Od roku 1658 zde sídlil rád paulánu. Pri požáru mesta roku 1682 klášter i chrám vyhorel. Roku 1701 byl komplex prestaven barokne, kostel byl snížen a zmenšen. Na pude kostela se dodnes uchovaly zbytky puvodních gotických kleneb. Roku 1786 byl klášter zrušen. Budova kláštera sloužila jako manufaktura, poté i jako byty, kostel dále sloužil církevním úcelum. Dnes v bývalém kláštere sídlí mestský úrad. Opravená rajská zahrada slouží jako koncertní a svatební sín.
