The Old Jail Tower results of any significance improvement work done on the tower(XIV century), King Manuel order the installation of the County Jail.
The Tower of the Old Jail, was as the name implies, a place of incarceration until the sixties of last century years and later worked for the Historical Archives and reception hall.
Today is the Tourist Information Center and exhibition space.
