This is the southern watertower of Fajarda, near Coruche.

The water tower was built in 1993 and has a capacity of 300m3. It is the southern water tower as there is another one on the north side of the village of Fajarda.
The two are linked together by way of a 5 kilometre long tube.
The water comes from a artesian water bore and the 200 inhabitants of Fajarda.
