The school closed in 2003 and is now used as retail premises. It contains a pharmacy, an antique stained glass shop and this second hand store.
This store opened in April 2010, any profits are used by St John’s church for renovations and also community projects.
The store sells clothes, books and bric-a-brac. It has a small stock of sweets and soft drinks and does coffee mornings.
These old premises are being put to good use and helping to preserve this old building. The antigue stained glass workshop is particularly interesting. It has a wide variety of old pieces that can be renovated and fitted into properties, but they also accept new commissions.
