Zakladni kamen kostela byl polozen 1767, dokoncen bylu pak 1781. Postaven byl podle navrhu architekt A.K.Schmidta, ktery byl pri navrhu ovlivne kostelem sv. Jana na Sklace v Praze od K.I.Dientzenhofera. Budova je zapsana do Ustredniho seznamu kulturnich pamatek CR.

Church was built during 1767 - 1781 according to plans of arch. A. K. Schmidt. He was inspired by church of St.John in Prague from famouse arch. K.I.Dientzenhofer. Bulding is listed among cultural landmarks of the Czech republic
