St. Luke's Episcopal Church is located on the northwest corner of W. Kansas Avenue and S. Sixth Street, southwest of the downtown area. Chickasha was established in 1892, and an Episcopal congregation met intermittently during the period 1893-1898. In October 1900, this church building was completed at 124 S. Sixth Street.

This is a native sandstone building with leaded windows and a wood shingled roof. Additions to the main sanctuary have been added to form a squared "O", with a center courtyard. The additions are used as classrooms.

A plaque on the front porch, placed by the DAR in 1975 indicates that this is the oldest church building in Chickasha in continual use since 1900.

St. Luke's is part of the Diocese of Oklahoma, which includes 20,000 members, with 150 resident clergy in 72 congregations. Sunday services are at 8:00AM and 10:00AM, preceded by adult and children's Sunday School at 9:00AM. Afternoon and evening programs for children are provided on Wednesday.
