St. Martin is the only church in Mumpf. It is located at the main street near the East end of the village. The church was first mentioned in 1441, but during renovations there were relics found below of an older church from the 9th century or older. It was renovated and expanded in 1541, 1741 and 1957. Until the early 20th century it was surrounded by the cemetery, then this was moved to the (these days) West border of the village.
