This news stand is in the Centenary Square in Bradford. It sells newspapers and magazines, but also telephone cards, soft drinks, confectionary and National Lottery tickets.

At the moment Centenary Square is being redeveloped so the news stand is only accessible at the entrance. The rest of it is fenced off whilst the development work is carried out. It is carrying on trading though.

The development will be called City Park and will have a mirror pool and fountains. There is actually a poster on the open door showing an artist’s impression of what it will look like.
