The beach is the most northern beach on the Gower Peninsula and has no direct vehicle access. To access the beach requires about 1/2 mile walking along trails through National Trust land. There are two car parks near the village of Llanmadoc. The beach is about 2 miles of sand and has a lighthouse accessible during low tide.

The day we were on the beach no one else was there except a small herd of cows (though it was quite cold and windy that day)  The beach is popular with naturalist but this activity is not really approved of by locals.  For more information on the beach see the Naturist Fact File.
