It is located on the western slope of the village, overlooking the Várzea da Rainha, making the pedestrian link between the Church of São João de Mocharro, the Door of Carved and Postigo Ball Game. Here you can see deer and at certain times of the year, foxes, wild boars, partridges and wild ducks, this species features.
The Óbidos Castle is located in the village of the same name, Parish of Santa Maria, County of Óbidos, Leiria District, Portugal.
Portuguese example of the medieval fortress, built on a small hill, past the sea, dominates the surrounding plains and the Arno River in the east. Result of various architectural interventions over the centuries, includes the entire village, which preserves its characteristics in an almost medieval scenic.
