The Lake Gardens in central Kuala Lumpur is host to a variety of scientific and cultural sites. One of these is this sundial. Attractive in design, it uses the eleven pointed star and crescent of the Malaysian federation to indicate the time. The sundial is easily found not too far from the Malaysian National Space Agency building. The sundial was originally constructed in 1957, and moved to its current location in 1997.
