ENG: Origin of Rosice coat-of-arm went back to 14 - 15 century, when the owner of the town was family Hecht of Rosice. Their coat-of-arm was a blue pike in the red box (Hecht = pike). Since 1409 Rosice were vassal town with the right of market. Emperor Franz Joseph I declared Rosice as city by September 20, 1907.
CZ: Puvod rosického znaku sahá do 14. - 15. století, kdy mesto vlastnili Hechtové z Rosic. Jejich erbem byla stríbrná štika v cerveném poli, tzv. mluvící znak - hecht je cesky štika. Již od roku 1409 byly Rosice poddanským mestem s právem trhovým. Rozhodnutím císare Františka Josefa I. byly Rosice 20.9.1907 povýšeny na mesto. Zároven jim byl predelen mestský znak, který je užíván dosud a nebyl nikdy žádnou listinou zmenen.

CZ: modrý štít ve kterém jest vyobrazena plovoucí štika přirozené podoby a barvy. Na horním kraji štítu vroubeného ozdobným okrajem barvy bronzové spočívá stříbrná zděná koruna s pěti viditelnými zuby.
