Ravelin XIV
Ravelin XIV. je obranný prvek v jihovýchodní cásti pevnosti Josefov. Mužete se zde dozvedet historii pevnosti, dnešní podobe a provádených opravách. Cást kasemat je upravena jako muzeum s výstavou artefaktu nalezených behem oprav pevnosti.
Místní nadšenci porádají též mnoho akcí pro verejnost jako jsou rekonstrukce bitev atp.
Prístupnost:
Objekt spravuje organizace dobrovolníku. Otvírací hodiny nejsou urceny, ale pokud sem zavítáte o víkendech, je velká pravdepodobnost, že tu nekoho zastihnete. Prípadne se neváhejte predem informovat pres e-mail info@josefov.com.

Historie Ravelinu XIV:
Na míste obranného prvku Ravelinu XIV (soucást vnejšího opevnovacího pásu), nacházejícího se v jihovýchodní cásti pevnosti Josefov, nebylo ješte pred lety mimo zdí porostlých nálety témer nic.
Od roku 1994 se to tu postupne opravuje. Rekonstruovaly se rímsy zakoncující obvodové zdivo, pak se odkrývala zed na puvodní výšku. Bylo nutno odstranit i neautentické prvky po vojsku; puvodne totiž tento pevnostní objekt patril ministerstvu obrany, které ho využívalo jako sklady materiálu. Potom se majitelem tohoto prostoru stalo mesto Jaromer a nyní ho mají v bezplatném pronájmu za údržbu a cástecnou renovaci clenové obcanského sdružení Ochránci památek pevnosti Josefov.
Z vlastního ravelinu zustalo pouze obvodové zdivo a zbytky valu, reduit (prvek uvnitr ravelinu) se však zachoval témer celý. Uvnitr reduitu vznikly z bývalé strážnice dve místnosti. Jedna je zarízena jako klubovna a druhá slouží jako skladište. Prímo z reduitu vede vchod do podzemí. Trvalá muzejní expozice je zrízena v delostreleckých kasematách, kde lze nalézt mimo jiné i litinový kríž z Josefovského kostela, který spadl pri vichrici v léte 2000 nebo funkcní repliky pevnostních del.
