Waterfall forms part of the China Vietnam border. The waterfalls
are over 300m in width and listed as the largest transnational
waterfall in Asia.
Ban Gioc is 123 km from Cao Bang the largest town close to the
waterfalls and a good staging point for visiting this area. It will
take more than 3
hours to drive to Ban Gioc from Coe Bang due to road condtions.
There are a number of
tour companies that can arrange a trip to Ban Gioc from Hanio. The trip
will take a couple of days and give the traveller a great appreciation
of the country and some stunning views of the karste mountains in this
region.
