Sasse Hein is a private nature reserve in the municipality of Haren. The area consists of two lakes, the North and Zuidplas. In the North Lake is a pavilion. The lakes are especially popular by vissers and nature lovers

The name is derived from the names of the first owner of the pavilion Aalderink Hein and his wife Saskia (Sas (kia) ? Sasse Hein and Hein). The area has been named as a tribute to the efforts for the preservation. At the pavilion stands a statue of Hein Aalderink.
