There was a field of vineyard in past. This part of city was called Blumental and in 1769 was build a parsonage. At the end of the 18th century were here two cemeteries on north-eastern part. In 1778 was established evangelic cemetery near Racianska street and in 1781 was established catholic cemetery near Smrecianska street.

On the both of cemeteries were small chapels but they were demolished and built here a new cross road - "Racianske myto". In '60s years last century were both cemeteries demolished and all relics were transfered to another cemeteries in the city.

Today is nice park here with lot of trees benches, playground for children, sculputre, fountain.

Na mieste poli a vinohradov tu vzniklo osadnicke predmestie Blumental, v ktorom si presporski Slovaci v roku 1769 zriadili rimskokatolicku faru. Na severovychodnom konci predmestia zalozili koncom 18. storocia dva cintoriny: 1778 evanjelicky, orientovany do Racianskej cesty, a 1781 katolicky, orientovany do Smrecianskej ulice.

V oboch cintorinoch sa nachadzali kaplnky, ktore boli kvoli rieseniu dopravneho uzla odstranene. Cintoriny boli zrusene zaciatkom sestdesiatych rokov 20. storocia a priestory boli upravené ako park. Pozostatky z hrobov a krypt boli exhumovane a prevezene do Slavicieho udolia.

Teraz sa tu nachadza park so stromami a lavickami na odpocinok. V parku najdeme fontanu, detske ihrisko a sochy.
