The Boreas was a ship that laid for 2 years on a chain in the harbor of Palamos.
The Spanish customs suspected the captain and his crew of drug transport.
Pako the boss off the dive club in Palamos had a idea to sink the ship near the harbor wall and use it to attract divers.
Together with friends they started to clean the ship from hazardous products. They made it impossible for divers to get stuck in the wreck. Finally in 1986 the drug ship was sunken 1 mile from the harbor wall.
The wreck lies on a depth of 30 meters. The top lies on 18 meters.
