I noticed this barber pole as we visited Ogden, Utah and snapped a couple of photos of it as we enjoyed the historic 25th Ave buildings.

This barber pole is located in a National Register of Historic Places District, as this area was quite a bustling area when the transcontinental railroad opened in 1869, with the Ogden depot a major hub for travel.
If you have the opportunity to stroll 25th Ave, be sure to read the many history signs that are found on many of the old buildings.
