Atlas statue at the Budapest City Hall - Atlas Statues on Waymarking.com

This Atlas statue is located in the V.th. district of Budapest, in Városház street 9.-11.
The sculpture is standing on the ledge of the tympanum between the allegorical statues of War and Peace. The creator of the original sculpture is unknown. (many say, Johann Thenny)
The building itself is the Mayor's Office.

Anyone who seeks and finds any or all of the statues must post two pictures of the statue, one just of the statue and the second with either themselves and a GPS unit or themselves with another form of identification showing current date and time for proof of genuine visit.
