The garden can be found near the aviary and was replanted in the year 2000. One of the roses is called 'Miss Alice' as a commemoration to Alice de Rothschild who shaped and cared for the garden during her lifetime. The original rose garden was designed by her and the roses we see today are especially chosen for their scent and perpetual display.

There are over 600 David Austen roses with The Gallica species of shrub rose and a majority of English Roses planted here. There are benches to sit and enjoy the fragrance and colour in this tranquil area.
