Ficou edificado numa das rotundas da Avenida Andrade Corvo, uma das principais artérias desta cidade.
Trata-se de um conjunto escultórico esculpido em bronze que pretende homenagear a juventude. A obra é da autoria do escultor Armando Ferreira e representa dois jovens tentando agarrar o mundo. É uma estátua de grandes dimensões com 5,5 metros de altura por 5 metros de largura.
