On the sign is the village church of All Saints and images of the houses from the village. A plaque at the base reads:
'This sign was given to commemorate 50 years of the Elton W.I.'

Also a W.I. logo appears beneath the main picture with the years 1932 to 1982. Another plaque reads:

'1994 Huntingdonshire District Best Kept Village
Council for the protection of Rural England trophy.'
