Zunzgen is a municipality with a population of 2,500 in the district of Sissach, canton Basel-Landschaft in Switzerland.
The oldest known reference to this village is from 1323, then by the name "Zunzkon". The village's landmark is a still undated barrow. A local myth says, it's the grave of Atilla the Hun, but it is most probably the basement of a watch tower of the 9th century.
