The construction was due to the fact that many popular at the time claiming that every investment made by Joaquim Belchior either in hotel or in the water bottling company Vimeiro would not be worth anything and he would have to close its doors after a short time, as Joaquim Belchior was a Catholic and superstitious person he built the cross so that we had divine support and protection for your entire project.
