The Bunker Hill and Sullivan Mining and Concentrating Company built and owned the Y.M.C.A. club-house. The building was placed in town in order to increase its assessed valuation and to render it readily accessible to the towns people.

The grand old red brick building that was the Y.M.C.A. was built in 1910. It housed the Bunker Hill and Sullivan Mining and Concentrating Company offices, a gym, reading room, classroom, bowling alley, and a swim facility.

The building is now sale and appears to currently be abandoned {Definition: 1)[adjective] no longer inhabited. 2)[adjective] left desolate or empty.} with broken out and boarded up windows.

One hundred years later several realtor web sites now list this building as being for sale for $249,500. They also report that it has been partially gutted and needing extensive renovation.

A 20x20 indoor pool and bowling lanes were located in basement.
