In Seward, just north of the downtown section, is a group of four railroad passenger cars known as "The Train Wreck." There are several commercial operations there, including a guide office, a bike shop, and Uncle Bob's Smoke Shack.
This restaurant is located in the southeastern car, which faces 4th Avenue. The cars are still painted in the Alaska Railroad blue and gold color scheme. They are arranged in a diamond shape, with a raised wooden platform in between all the cars so that you don't have to step up to the car entrance.
I briefly entered the restaurant to inquire about the menu, since someone had special dietary needs. Unfortunately, they didn't have a selection that met the needs and tastes, so we had moved on. But, what I did see was a kitchen-galley area on the left, with some tables and chairs to the right. The restaurant's MySpace site states, in a video, that the car is an old World War II dining car, and that it has the original stove and refrigerator. The place was full - it only has six table, and we would probably have had to wait for ten minutes or so to sit. the menu I saw looked like it had a lot of choices.
