This old church of 'Oostum' was built in the mid 13th century and is no longer in use as a church.

The church was built in the mid 13th century. Originally the church had three bays (wall boxen). But by the construction of the tower in the 14th century, a half-span to expire, leaving two-and-a-half span remaining. The south facade has decorative brickwork in the style of Gothic romano. In the tower hangs a bell dating from 1466 created by Henrik Backer. At the west side where in 1821 two small 'steunberen' built.
