One of many painted utility boxes in and around Potsdam. This one shows a collection of fruit. The picture is fitting since the box is next to two grocery stores.
In 2005, the city of Potsdam, struggling with a giant tagging problem, employed five young graffiti artist, known as ART-EFX to paint hundreds of utility boxes in town.
This one is one of the most photographed ones. If you search Google-Earth at the above coordinates, you'll find a number of additional pictures (but the two posted ones are of course the pictures we took).
