The cemetery of Wierum. Beside the cementry stood a church, that was pulled down in 1901.
On the 'wierde' are two farms and a house and the a cemetery. Between 2006 and 2008 the 'wierde' which is a higher part of land recovered using sludge from the Van Starkenborghkanaal.
The name of the cemetery is "Cemetery of Wierum". There are approximately 150 graves on the graveyard
