There are many planes and airframes in the Dumfries Aviation Museum. This Fairey Gannet is just one. A grand day out with exhibits to climb over and sit in.

Dumfries Aviation Museum is on an old runway of RAF Dumfries. The former control tower houses the engine exhibits and WW2 memorabilia. Only open certain days. Check before visiting.

The anchor chain links and cleat are from HMS Ark Royal aircraft carrier which was broken up nearby at Cairnryan.
