Recently the first phase of the walking path was completed. Phase one is 1.29 miles of asphalt path for walking, running, or bicycling. Since being established, the walking path has become a popular spot for many people to get their exercise for the day, along with their dogs, we just ask that if you are walking an animal please clean up after them.

Added in the summer of 2007 were antique farm equipment donated by the Bermensolo Family. After a lot of research on the equipment, we are adding informative granite plaques with information about the individual pieces of equipment. In the fall of 2007, the city of Mountain Home received a grant for 80 trees of various types, all of these trees have been planted near the bike path for future shade.
