Along Cambodian National Highway 7, just inside the border of the Strung Treng province, is this roadside display of a US 2,000 lb bomb. There is also an accompanying plaque. (Photos in gallery.)
The inscription on the bomb reads as follows:
GPLD MK 84 (2000LB) US WEIGHT 895kg TRITONAL 429kg
The inscription on the plaque is in two parts, Cambodian and English. The English reads as follows:
