There are two cemeteries near the old church of Westerkirk, in the hamlet of Bentpath.

This new cemetery is still in use as the older one on the east side of the church is full. At present there is plenty of space for this sparsely populated parish. What few headstones there are, are arranged along the walls and at furthest (west) end from the gate. About 150 people are buried here.
