Martin Park is a beautiful area with a nature center, located on the far NW side of Oklahoma City. In addition to the nature center, there is a wheelchair-accessible trail, bird watching walls, an observation tower, and a large steel bridge from which you can see the thousands of catfish and turtles wanting to be fed.
This footbridge was built as an Eagle Project, spanning a creek area so pedestrians don't have to get muddy when using this trail. The creek is small, so after a heavy rain the water level rises quickly and the water flow gets really fast, so this bridge was a great addition to the trail system.
Martin Park's visiting hours can vary , but typically they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please be sure to check the website before heading out.
