This newest Minnesota State Veterans cemetery opened in 1994. It is just under 40 acres at about 37 acres. Presently about 3600 are buried there. Scenic and extremely well maintained, the cemetery does about 400 burials a year. Has traditional graves, an area for cremated remains to be buried, also a columbarium vault for cremated returns. Also has an impressive building with committal room. A memorial walk features memorials by service organizations and specific memorials such as Vietnam, Korea, Purple Heart etc. Building also has rest rooms and graveside locator to make finding your loved ones easier.
